Riley Adelphi chassis 1937

Original 1937 Riley 12/4 Adelphi for restoration, complete except for bodywork. An excellent basis for a TT Sprite or other special build. This is (or was) a complete car and is not a collection of parts from different sources.

Comes with UK registration documents (V5 and original number plate) and genuine Riley 27A chassis number. All in need of full rebuild, but generally in oily, unmolested condition.

Essentially a Sprite-type engine, with water pump and the most desirable 14mm plug cylinder head. No external cracks or signs of frost damage.

Includes many of the parts often missing from special kits, such as 5” Jaeger speedometer and other instruments, radiator and shell, plus original Lucas electrical regulator and headlamps.

The rotten bodywork from the original Riley saloon was removed over 30 years ago.
