Informationen/information |
A well executed Riley Special with the 2.5litre big four engine & a four-speed gearbox. The car wears polished aluminum coachwork by Dunbar of Carnoustie in Scotland.
Given the light body & powerful engine, this is a serious pre-war sports car with a good turn of speed. It is nicely patinated & ready for track or hill climb type use. The seats are of patinated tan leather. The bodywork minimalist to the extreme with twin aero screens to peer over & strain out bugs that might otherwise be found on one teeth. The chassis & body supports are all painted in red. Dual spare wheels are fitted to either side of the body. There is provision for storage of the proverbial Knickers & toothbrush accessed by a hatch behind the rear seats above the fuel tank. The car comes with a full set of instruments including 120mph speedometer & rev counter. A pair of leather straps keep the bonnet secured in place. The car is very sporting in nature & an absolute hoot to drive. The engine is robust & hearty with plenty of power & making all the right noises. |
