Riley Nine Special 1929

A beautiful car and has much racing history. The car belonged to Charlie Mortimer (author of the book Dear Lupin, which I believe is now also a West End Show). I have photos of him with the car as well as correspondence from him confirming all of this.

The car also featured in the 1000th edition of Motorsports Magazine.

The Riley has also been endorsed by Christine Riley, last member of the Riley family.

A huge history file comes with the car including the original scrutineering tags from her racing days in the 60s.

The car was completely rebuilt and the restoration was carried out respectfully. The body (which is the original racing body) was clad in Bentley leather and wadding in order to preserve the original aluminium unpainted bodywork underneath.

The car also comes with a spare engine block and other spare bits.

The price is negotiable within reason and part exchange will also be considered.
