Riley 15/6 Le Mans MPH Special

EXCELLENT MPH Le Mans replica with the very attractive and rare 15/6 engine, the base of later ERA fame.

The 15/6 engine is extremely well sorted and performing a lot of power and torque. A fantastic and exciting car to drive, sounds like an Alfa Monza.

Car crafted by well-known English Riley specialist Steve White in 1993. The car is built from original 1935 Riley parts on a MPH reproduction chassis. It has a close ratio Wilsom preselector gearbox, high ratio diff plus very nice big brake drums. All balanced engine, Phoenix rods, very "hairy" high lift cams, shell bearings, Lagonda Rapier pistons, big valves. Compr. ratio 10:1 and developing 80-90 bHP. Extremely fast.

Exceptional craftmanship and exquisitely detailed, quite a masterpeice made without an eye for cost .

Car has participated in local Scandinavian sport events, among other the prestigious Munkebjerg Hill Climb, with famous racing ace Tom Kristensen of Le Mans fame at the wheel. For sale including Tom´s autograph!
