Informationen/information | This fast Riley started life as a Kestrel Sprite many years ago and has been designed as a hillclimb and circuit racer ,competed in VSCC events by the previous 2 owners.Road registered and so usable on the road it should however not be seen as such. On file are a myriad of invoices pertaining to the construction of the car together with data sheets. The car is well designed with easy access to all areas;whilst under a previous ownership,a chartered engineer apprenticed to Bristol cars, the car developed 100 bhp at the rear wheels. The engine is genuine Sprite with serious upgrades and the gearbox is close ratio with needle roller gears rebuilt by Tom Dark.Brake system is twin leading shoe hydraulic with separate master cylinder for hand brake. The car is a wonderful basis for the next owner to improve aesthetically having all the `goodies` and lighten to give an even more competitive edge. |
